A friend...a companion
Sharing long conversations
My heart doesn’t desire more
I don’t have unreal expectations

A smile...a laugh
Whispering sweet nothings
My heart doesn’t long for more
I find my happiness in little things
You, yes you give me all of that
You do my love...
My heart can’t ask for more

When I think of....

When I think of love I think of you
The sound of your voice echoes in my ears
The way you whisper..."luvvv u"

The sound of your voice soothes away my fears

From the moment I wake up to a new day
I sense your love in many a way
Yes baby I long for this every day...

I wanna wake up to the touch of your fingers
Caressing my face...
Your touch bringing a smile to my lips...

That longing...that desire...

This poem is very close to my heart and about my favorite subject :P... this one is for my precious babies! I love them more than words can ever express :)

One look from papa
One spanking from grandma
One scolding from grandpa
And that familiar wail
"Mamma"

Toys strewn all over
Running helter-skelter
For cover
His lil’ face with fear fraught
  When he's caught
  And he yells again
"Mamma"

Strokes of his crayon
Writing A B C
Smile on his face
And a Star
In his copy
And he shouts in glee
"Mamma"

Cute...sweet...adorable
Precious...huggable...kissable
Giggles...laughter
Stories of here ever after
He sighs
Sleep in his eyes
I hear it…again
As he whispers softly
"Mamma"

You Know What I mean?

Another all time favorite poem :)! Because it's got such a positive feel and one I always end up sharing with friends when they feel low and down. It's simply to remind us all that "Life's all about living and living it with a positive attitude"!!! :)

I hate it when people complain 

Never happy about anything 

Life is always a pain 

They have that look on their face 

It’s constant I tell you 

Not just a phase 

Mornings are bad 

Evenings sad 

Makes you wonder 

Really 

Doesn’t it drive them mad? 

I love life 

Through good times and bad 

Frowns don’t last…you know 

When I think of the happiness 

I’ve had 

Every cloud has a silver lining 

Every fall should make you stronger 

Take a look around you 

People care about you 

You will realize 

You can’t be sad much longer 

Think of it this way

You have to listen to what I say
